Director and Producer Dan Brockett from Big Little Films recently sent us some shots of our gear in use right here in our very LA County. While shooting a commercial for MTA to teach local commuters about a new rail line, Brockett found several applications for some of Matthews' newest gear, the Ed Dolly, and some of Matthews' tried and true standards like our C-stands, sandbags and more. Check out the slideshow below:
In addition to shots on the dolly seat, Brockett also took advantage of the Steadicam platform option by removing the seat and using the platform to achieve some standing shots bracing the tripod legs on the frame of the dolly. With reflectors to bounce the light, solid hinge floppies to block the light and an array of stands to hold it all, Brocket achieved high-quality production value with the most versatile and innovative equipment available on the market today.
We are proud to be a part of this and other productions not just locally but worldwide; shipping to over 65 countries for everything from big-budget studio projects to independent works of art to imaging; still photographers, videographers and cinematographers alike will all use our gear to get the best shot possible. Matthews: Technology that Complements your Imagination.
