What a year...many new products, many new clients and even more new friends. We are excited about the next twelve months, and we look forward to the introduction of some very exciting new innovations as well as other opportunities to share with you as we get further along. And yes, we are all a little bit older...but also a little bit wiser, so the glass is more than half full. Older we are: Linda Swope has been with Matthews for nearly 25 years, having joined us as a young lady. Pam Hoffman was just a teenager when she joined over 17 years ago...and then there's Bob, going on 16 years along with Edmundo, and Jim getting up there with 11. The babies are Crystalyn, Brianna and Tyler. But, add it up and we offer over 100 years of Matthews knowledge. I personally have been here forever - yep, 40 years! - and yes, I too was just a teenager when I started. Well, not exactly, but let me live the fantasy. Have a wonderful Holiday season and a healthy, happy and prosperous New Year. |

Wow! What an unbelievable year for Matthews and our team! Our DC-Slider won two major awards at NAB 2011. Boy did that innovative tool take off - to Hawaii, Chicago, Boston - and other parts unknown! Not to rest on our achievements, but...we moved forward with even more creative tools in the Slider line: a motion control system and a Heavy Duty (HD) DC-Slider.
Not long after NAB, we introduced DC-Slider to Central and South America - and we're even setting up shop with new dealers in Asia! This is an exciting product line, and from the reports (and cool videos) we've received, our clients are more than pleased.
We are really proud of our international reach. During the past year we've shipped equipment from Moscow to Mumbai, Alaska to Argentina. And, we've met with users and potential users at NAB, CineGear (East and West), CPS in Moscow, Broadcast Asia in Singapore...we've battled the February Freeze in Toronto and INTERBEE in Tokyo, and we've probably even forgotten a stop or two on the way! For us, it's a necessity. As production spreads throughout the world Matthews is determined to be there to support everything from the run-and-gun to the major feature.
As we look towards 2012 with great enthusiasm and excitement, be prepared for: Major new products. Major new announcements.
As always, MSE's Sales and Marketing team is committed to continuing to provide our friends and clients the very best in "Technology that Complements your Imagination!"
-Happy Holidays from Bob Kulesh and the MSE Sales Team

DC SLIDER MAKES ASIAN DEBUT AT INTERBEE EXPO
KENKO's booth at INTERBEE Expo in Tokyo, Japan, was a high traffic area last month - because, as in past international exhibits, DC-Slidercaught everyone's attention.Masao Nakachi, General Manager of KENKO Professional Imaging, and his staff (pictured here) were kept busy throughout the four-day show, providing many of the 35,000 visitors hands-on demonstrations of this cool multi-faceted multi-use camera platform. And it wasn't just the end user that was captivated. During the show, Robert Kulesh, Matthews Vice President of Sales, increased DC-Slider's international reach by setting up distribution agreements with companies in Korea and Thailand, as well as developed relationships in other Asian countries.
With this kind of excitement building, Matthews is looking forward to bringing DC-Slider to even more industry professionals at Broadcast Asia, Singapore - June 2012. See you there!
