| WIRE DIFFUSION Fresnel and open face lighting fixtures, whether they are incandescent or HMI, often require that light output be regulated without any shifting of color temperature. The introduction of Matthews wire diffusion into the light path will reduce light and maintain original color temperature. Wire diffusion is available in full and half aperture and a variety of densities and lens sizes. |
BAGS and BOXES In studio or location Matthews recommends that all lighting stands be secured with bags to prevent accidents. Matthews provides both sand bags and bags filled with steel shot which are smaller than sand bags and not subject to the problems sand has when wet. Boa Bags are a Matthews creation and used often to counterweight booms and arm extensions. Apple Boxes in various sizes and Matthews' own ELEPHANT Blocks are indispensible on set or on location. |
