Matthews manufactures two types of track for your consumer pleasure: Heavy Wall Track and Stainless Steel Track. Both are manufactured from 1-1/2" diameter steel tubing. Heavy Wall Track, being slightly less in price than Stainless Steel Track, has a chrome plating to protect it from negative environmental effects. Stainless Steel Track is impervious to the elements because of its stainless steel quality. All Matthews Dolly Track is manufactured to sustain a maximum payload of 1200lbs (545 kg).

The common track lengths manufactured by Matthews are as follows: 4ft, 8ft, and 10ft sections of straight track; and 6 ft sections for a 90 degree diameter circle (which takes four sections for a complete circle), 8ft sections for a 20' diameter circle (takes 8 sections for a complete circle), and 10ft sections for a 70' diameter circle (takes 16 sections for a complete circle) of curved track. As with most Matthews products, we are out to satisfy you, therefore any length or size of track may be ordered. Contact your Matthews sales associate or local Matthews dealer and supply the specifications for your custom track, allowing the time necessary to fill a custom order. Be advised that most dollies will be unable to navigate a 10ft diameter circle and will require the use of a product manufactured by Matthews called a Centipede.
