Pop-up Combo
In the ’80s Ed shook up the production community by combining a Junior Receiver with a pop-up, 5/8” Baby Pin at the head. His new Pop-up Combo stand minimized the number of stands needed on set, which meant fewer to trip over or get in the way.
Although it initially raised some eyebrows between the grip and electric departments which each had different standards, it was such a smart improvement that soon, the Pop-up Combo became the “go to” whenever a stand with options is needed.
