While maintaining the essential features that professionals rely on - solid gripping of round, square, rectangular tubing, irregular shapes, and flat surfaces like plywood, plexiglass, and even paper - this next-generation tool delivers superior functionality and enhanced durability.
Coated in our proprietary Black Hyper-Chrome finish, the Matthellini² is stronger, easier to handle, and keeps your versatile hardware discreetly behind the scenes. The redesigned jaws are thicker at critical stress points and feature an innovative curved radius engineered to significantly reduce binding (approximately 67% less than previous-generation designs) while delivering exceptional clamping force. The result is a clamp that grips harder and releases cleaner, even after heavy use.
The upgraded stainless steel Acme thread provides smooth, reliable operation, while the oversized spinning handle ensures fast adjustments. The Baby Pin is now tapped with a 1/4"-20 threaded receiver, opening new possibilities for adding small accessories and creating more elaborate rigging applications. Like its predecessor, the Matthellini² supports up to 22 lbs / 10 kg.
