CINE™ Lens Shade w/ Clamp

Every cinematographer/videographer needs this in their kit. Easy to use and eliminates lens flare. I work in the television industry and this has saved me countless times when doing a live shot.

This is a such a versatile tool to have in you AKS bag. Build quality is superb. I highly recommend this as a universal lens shade.

If you're familiar with the bendy ball joint system than there's not much else to say here.it is sturdy and holds up awesome. If you're working in constant day light situations, this is super handy if your matte box only has an eyebrow but no wings, or you forgot your hat while pulling focus and this Saves your face or monitor.Plenty of options and uses. I've seen some people take off the clamp and replace it with a 3/8" screw to mount directly to the camera handle or cage.Solid buy

I recently purchased the Dinkum Systems CINE Lens Shade Clamp Mount for my camera assistant kit, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with its functionality and build quality.The clamp is incredibly sturdy and secure, providing a stable base for my lens shade to attach to. I appreciate the variety of shapes/sizes the spring clip mount can accommodate, as it allows me to use it from a range of mounting points. The gooseneck can be manipulated to further aid tricky positioning.The lens shade itself is well-designed and large, effectively blocking out any unwanted light or glare from entering the lens. It's easy to adjust and stays securely in place, even in windy conditions (which may not be the case for flags/“lensers” or blackwrap.Overall, I highly recommend the Dinkum Systems CINE Lens Shade Clamp Mount to any professional or amateur photographer or videographer. Its durability, versatility, and ease of use make it an excellent addition to any camera kit.The only potential negative is the delicate matte coating on the shade. Any moderately sharp edges have the potential to permanently mar the surface.

I used this to block the sun on a dual GoPro camera setup to film high school soccer matches. It did an amazing job providing enough refuge from the sun (at many different angles based on the position the sun) so the camera batteries didn't overheat. This is expensive, but worked exceptionally well.
