The T-GO 5/8″ Kit is a complete modular rigging system built around the industry-standard 5/8″ diameter: the backbone of grip and camera rigging. Designed by veteran Key Grip TJ Beaty and manufactured exclusively by Matthews Studio Equipment in Burbank, California, this kit delivers everything a rigging grip needs to construct custom, high-load camera rigs quickly and confidently in any production environment.
The kit brings together a carefully selected set of precision-machined connector pieces: a Barrel, Cross, Swivel, and the one-of-a-kind T-GO Corner Piece; along with a full set of 5/8″ rods in six lengths (2″, 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, and 12″). Every connector is low-profile by design, maximizing usability in tight rigging spaces while maintaining exceptional structural integrity. All rods are captured in connectors with standard 1/4″-20 set screws, and all rods are tapped 3/8″ on at least one end for easy extension and accessory attachment. The 2" and 12" rods are tapped 3/8" on both sides, allowing easy extension of rod lengths.
Use the T-GO 5/8″ Kit to triangulate a camera on a car mount, pair with baby pin hardware like Matthellinis to build custom grip rigs tailored to your shoot, supplement with Grip Heads or Grip Rail to increase use and versatility, or integrate with the T-GO Ball Head Assembly for a fully unified rigging solution. All components are CNC-machined and finished in a hard grey anodize that matches the rest of the T-GO line. This kit is tough, corrosion-resistant, and engineered to last through the rigors of professional production.
