The 33" C-Stand Sliding Leg with Grip Head & Arm is the newest edition to Matthews' storied C-Stand family. In 1974 Matthews introduced the very first folding-leg c-stand to the market, cementing it's place in filmmaking history. Over the years, technologies have changed and products come and go, but the C-Stand continues to be the backbone of production. C-Stand bases allow you to nest them close together, so that you can place a fixture on one and a piece of diffusion on the other as close or as far from the light source you need. 

Matthews C-Stands are designed and engineered with working crews at the forefront of our minds. All Matthews C-Stands are repairable in the field. Should you lose a t-handle or o-ring, should you need a replacement riser tube or leg, should a foot fall off or a casting get damaged; all these parts may be found on our website in our parts store.
